Evan decided to leave his home state of Michigan and begin a new adventure in New England. He was living in Boston for two weeks prior to meeting Julia and spent his time visiting historic sites, attending mass at different churches, and gearing up to continue his career in IBEW 103.

Julia was beginning her second year of Physical Therapy School at Simmons University in Boston focusing on studying, her faith, and spending time with family on the weekends.

On April 20, 2021 - Julia and Evan matched on Upward, a Christian dating app, and had their first date the following day at Trattoria Il Panino in the North End. They instantly were deeply connected by their Catholic faith, light humor, and love for dogs.

Evan and Julia moved into a 500 sq ft apartment in the heart of downtown Manchester-By-The-Sea with their dog, Handsome. Their days consisted of walking to the beach, swimming in the ocean, and building a life of love together.

After two years, Evan and Julia knew they would spend the rest of their lives together. Evan proposed to Julia on Eagle Beach in Aruba with the love and support of both families by their sides.

A year filled of celebrations as Julia graduated physical therapy school, passed her boards and began her "first" job while Evan passed his journeyman's test and is tackling a bachelors degree while working full-time. Along with triumphs, they have survived two moves in the span of six months, landing themselves in Beverly Farms, MA.

Evan and Julia are so excited to share their special day with you on May 31, 2025. They look forward to spending a weekend filled of love, laughter, and memories with all of their favorite people. Thank you for your endless love and support.
